Improvisation is the art of creating spontaneous, unscripted performances, where actors react in the moment, building scenes and characters on the fly while maintaining creativity, authenticity, and focus.

Most auditions are currently self taping from home. Olivia will help you build a professional self tape setup and give you tools to prepare for those quick-turnaround auditions.

Voice and Movement

Voice and movement training helps actors improve their physical and vocal skills, allowing them to express emotions and bring their characters to life more effectively.

Olivia's Approach

Olivia believes that the foundation of great acting is craft, and her goal is to help students develop theirs by providing a variety of tools to choose from.

Drawing on training from a diverse range of techniques and studios , Olivia offers multiple options for each student. She believes in the approach of “take what works and leave the rest” and does not subscribe to one single method for every actor.

She sees craft-building as an ongoing process and encourages students to lead with curiosity in their acting while staying flexible and open to surprise.

About Olivia

Background

Olivia Benedict is a dedicated actress & youth acting coach with a passion for helping kids & teenagers unlock their potential in the performing arts.

She began her acting journey as a child, developing a deep dedication to her craft. Olivia honed her skills at esteemed institutions, including HB Studio, Michael Howard Studios, the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, Stella Adler Studio, and the Upright Citizens Brigade.

Her experience spans multiple staged productions in New York City, as well as numerous commercial and narrative film projects.

In addition to her work as a coach and actor, Olivia owns and operates Duck Duck Goose Films, a production company where she brings her creative vision and expertise to life.

As a coach, Olivia specializes in scene study, on-camera auditions, improv, and the business of acting.

Through personalized coaching, she bridges the gap for kids and teens, helping them build skills and confidence in a supportive setting.

Simply bring your curiosity and enthusiasm! We'll talk about your goals, and I’ll guide you through the rest.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require at least 24 hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduling of lessons. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee.

How do I book a lesson?
